"Chaglar Nikoloz Tsereteli International School of Tbilisi" (CIS) was founded in 2006 under the permission of Georgian Government by "Chaglar Educational Institution" to meet the international education need in Georgia.
CIS has started education in its building in Vake. From 2010-11 Academic Year CIS is giving education in its new well equipped building in 3. Masivi which is on the way of airport highway.
CIS provides a safe and caring learning environment where students are challenged to make use of their potentials and integrate into a multicultural world community and continues to serve for international education with qualified native and foreign teaching staff in its modern and well equipped school building.
CIS has teaching staff from different countries around the world including Georgia, Turkey, UK, Canada and the United States to enhance the English-language instruction at CIS. All of our teachers have university degrees; among them many have postgraduate teaching qualifications or master's degrees. The majority of the teachers have completed university courses with components in Education, and all the teachers have some years of experience in their own fields.
CIS has students from over 15 different countries and speaking many different native languages. This enables students to build friendships with peers from many parts of the world. Most of our parents are business people, staff of embassies or other international organizations.
Our new century needs and will be shaped by extraordinary individuals. Meeting the challenges and opportunities of an interdependent world will require versatile intellectual competence and uncompromising commitment. Those who thrive in and contribute to this world will have a solid sense of who they are, and respect for who others are, as individuals, as members of a group, as citizens of their nation, and as members of a global community. They will have a rigorous academic preparation and a passion to become the best they can be and to help others achieve their best. The mission of Chaglar Nikoloz Tsereteli International School is to develop such individuals and exactly committed to do so.
Chaglar Nikoloz Tsereteli International School will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, national and ethnic origin, age, religion, gender preference or disability in the administration of its educational policies, admission, scholarship, athletic and other school-administered programs. CIS practices a full non-discriminatory policy in all school-administered programs.
Chaglar Nikoloz Tsereteli International School's main objective is to provide a quality international education in English for children of all nationalities living in Tbilisi who can benefit from its programs.

PHILOSOPHY OF THE SCHOOL
We are committed to a child-centered curriculum that addresses the needs of international students and makes easy their transfer to other international and national schools. Our curriculum strives to incorporate the experiences, culture and perspectives of our students. We consider the all-round development of the individual and encourage curiosity, reflection, and questioning. We foster an understanding of human values, confidence, and responsibility to society. We aim for academic quality, with the understanding that all children have different abilities, skills and interests, which if developed and nurtured, will enable them to become mature, self-sufficient and productive members of their communities. We consider our valuable students to be assets in our school. Students, staff and parents meet each other with respect, acceptance and friendship.
